Julian assists families with children by working to protect the children’s best interests and helping preserve long-term co-parenting relationship. Julian’s practice is focused on representing clients in collaborative family law matters, divorce situations, modifications of prior court orders affecting children, and premarital and postmarital agreements. Julian helps people with complex property and business interests find amicable resolutions. As a former prosecutor and Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy, Julian brings a sense duty and service to his cases.
Julian holds a law degree from St. Mary’s University, and began his career as a prosecutor with the Bexar County Criminal District Attorney’s office. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the College of the State Bar, the San Antonio Bar Association and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
Julian is a member of Collaborative Divorce Texas where he served on the Board of Trustees from 2007 to 2015 and as the President for 2012. In 2006 Julian help found and was the first President of Collaborative Divorce San Antonio. Julian has been a frequent speaker and author on the collaborative process at seminars for fellow attorneys and presentations for other professionals. Julian has been recognized in San Antonio Scene magazine’s S.A. Lawyers “Best of” in both family law and collaborative law since 2012.
